This course will draw upon previous coursework and notes to diagnose and solve actual problems in the public sector. Throughout the course we will focus on the decision-making patterns of managers in public organizations and how they affect certain communities (minority, women, elderly, etc.), as well as how it affects businesses. We will examine the theories and principles applied in the decision-making process by governmental agencies at all three levels of the executive branch, and by non-profit agencies at the local level.
