COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The theory and practice of dramatic production in Latin America and of the Spanish-speaking groups within the U.S., with special emphasis on popular and socially committed theatre. Reading and interpretation of dramatic texts.

Prerequisite: ENG 102. In addition: SPA 202 or SPA 212; or permission of the instructor.
