Group counseling issues will be discussed which focus on treating chemical dependency. Differences from conventional groups, selection of group members, types of groups for chemical dependency treatment, facilitating group process, using groups ot build motivation, and other topics germane to treating the chemically dependent in groups will be discussed. Group dynamics in self-help groups and inpatient faciliites will also be discussed.
