COURSE DESCRIPTION:

The topics covered this semester will pertain to geometric optics, mechanics, and heat and thermodynamics. This is the first semester of a two-semester introductory course sequence which is designed to provide the student with a general knowledge of the principles, concepts, and theories of classical and modern physics. Prerequisite: ENG 101 and MAT 241, MAT 242.
Corequisite: MAT 242.
Restrictions: PHY 203 must be taken before PHY 204.
