COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
The poetic and dramatic search for spiritual roots to overcome the Puerto Rican collective crisis, with emphasis from the mid-19th century to the 1930s; the psychological and moral impact of the socioeconomic process that led to the Puerto Rican migrations to the United States, as reflected in both literary genres. Puerto Rican poets and playwrights in the U.S. will be considered. |
