This course is a review or the design, operation, and maintenance of water-based fire protection equipment such as automatic sprinkler, standpipe, and water-spray systems. Students will perform basic system designs and mathematical calculations. The relationship of water-based suppression systems to specific hazards, models codes and firefighting will be discussed.
